Twitter withdrew its lawsuit against the U.S. government Friday, only a day after filing, after the government backed down from its request for information regarding an immigration-focused, anti-Trump account. The Guardiantweeted the news, and the lawsuit has been updated.

Basically, the U.S. government—and specifically, U.S. Customs and Border Protection—wanted information on the anonymous Twitter account @ALT_uscis, which has been tweeting about immigration issues, and taking a particularly anti-Trump stance.
