The Chinese electric vehicle giant sold a total of 6,191 cars across the country, accounting for 14.4% of all new car registrations last year and representing more than a threefold increase from the previous year. Second-ranked rival Toyota also saw a strong increase of 49% year-on-year by selling 5,736 units last year, while BMW retained its third-place ranking with 5,042 registrations.
